Payment is currently available only through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you choose a plan in the app, it is charged to the payment method registered to your store account (Apple ID or Google account), and the subscription renews monthly unless you cancel. Payment history and receipts can be viewed in each store's subscription settings. Web payment (card or bank transfer via Toss Payments, for example) is not supported yet and will be added in the future.
Linking takes about 3 minutes. ① The child installs the app first and signs up with an email, Kakao or Apple account. ② Install the app on your parent's phone and log in with a text-message verification of their phone number (no password). ③ Tap "Create link code" in the parent app: a 4-digit number appears in large type. Enter that number under "Add family" in your own app, and you're connected. The code is valid for 10 minutes and a new number is generated each time, so it stays secure. Once linked, your parent's schedule, medication reminders and voice-phishing alerts appear on your dashboard in real time. The link and what is shared are also shown on your parent's phone, and it can be disconnected at any time in Settings.
We currently offer monthly billing only, so there is no annual option. Annual billing and discounts are being prepared for a future release. When they launch, we'll announce them in the app's plan screen and on this website.
Yes. Marujigi starts on the Free plan the moment you sign up, with no trial period and no payment details required, and you can keep using it for free. When you need more, such as more voice conversations or a family link, upgrade to the plan you want from the plan screen in the app; monthly billing starts from that point. Paid plans can be cancelled at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings or Google Play subscription management, and you won't be charged from the next billing date. When the paid period ends, your account returns to the Free plan automatically, and your schedules and family connections are kept as they are.
Of course. We created the Solo Care plan so seniors can use Marujigi on their own, without a family link. Along with voice conversation, medication and schedule reminders and full voice-phishing protection, an alert is sent automatically to a pre-registered emergency contact if a risk is detected, and you receive a personal weekly health report. Start with the Free plan and upgrade to Solo Care when you need it. If you later want to share with family, add a child with a link code and switch to Maru Care.
