Delete Your Account

Required disclosure page per Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play's Data Safety account-deletion requirement — reachable without signing in.

Deleting your account is permanent. Schedules, phishing logs, and family links are removed immediately. Payment records are retained separately as required by Korean e-commerce law, but are no longer linked to any identifying account information.

Option 1 — Delete in-app (fastest)

  1. Open the Marujigi app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and linked data are removed immediately — no waiting period.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account:

  1. Send an email to help@marujigi.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
  2. Include the phone number (senior accounts) or email address (family accounts) on the account.
  3. We'll confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 5 business days.

Requests submitted this way are routed through our support system as a Manual Approval case — personal-data requests are never auto-resolved.

What gets deleted

  • Login credentials (email/password, Kakao ID, Apple ID link)
  • Schedules, medication reminders, and phishing logs tied to your account
  • Family links between your account and any linked senior/family member
  • Push notification tokens

What's retained

  • Payment/transaction records, stripped of identifying account information, retained for the period required by Korean e-commerce law (전자상거래법)
